La Marca Daily Van: Gasless on Iveco basis

La Marca Mobilty from Landsberg am Lech, Germany, has been building Roller Team, Notin, Wingamm or Mobilvetta, among others, for years. Not so long ago, the manufacturer introduced a series of semi-integrated cars under its own name. A logical follow-up to this is of course a bus camper, which was found in the La Marca Daily Van.

the brand

Unlike the La Marca semi-integrated vehicles, the new bus camper is not based on the Fiat Ducato but on the Iveco Daily. A choice that is less common in camper country. Rear-wheel drive and a sturdy but heavy ladder chassis are to blame for this. However, this does of course offer advantages for robustness. The fact that Ivecos can now be equipped with driver assistance systems, an 8-speed automatic transmission or four-wheel drive, also makes this commercial vehicle an interesting choice as a basis for a bus camper.

Complete as standard

The equipment of the La Marca Daily Van is very extensive. In addition to 158 hp under the hood, there is a crosswind assistant as standard, the tire pressure is monitored and two airbags are present so that you do not have to explain anything difficult after an accident. Even a reversing camera is available as standard.

Striking layout

At a length of six meters, La Marca has created a striking layout. In the back you will find a sitting and sleeping group. As is often the case, you can sit or sleep here. An additional feature, however, is the bed at eye level. In sleeping mode, four people can find space here. During the day, the bottom bed can be turned into a seat where you can slide the top bed forward, halfway. This means that the seat for an adult can only be reached via the rear doors. But that is not really a problem because it is intended for a family with children. They have a nice playground without getting in Mom and Dad's way.

Fully electric

The bathroom is complete with a shower and toilet, but compact. If that bothers you, you have plenty of space with the outdoor shower. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob. Because you have to search in vain for gas in this bus camper. The entire household runs on a 150Ah lithium battery. A solar panel on the roof ensures that it can supply sufficient power for a lot longer. The Daily Van also has a parking heater and a 10l boiler. An awning is standard, as are the mosquito screens and blackout for all windows. The finish has a choice of Scandinavian Oak, Gray Oak or Cherry Wood.

the brand

The empty weight of the Iveco Daily Van is 3 tons, which means you can carry 500kg with a B driver's license. However, it is originally a hard workhorse, so upgrading to 4200kg is possible provided you have a C(1) driver's license. The price is €64.990 ex BPM
