Going out in the fall: unique camping in the Netherlands

In recent months, many Dutch people have rediscovered our country. And that is great, because there is a lot to experience. From various nature reserves, kilometers of beaches, beautiful towns to beautiful heaths or dunes. And next week is the autumn holidays, so are you going camping one last time this season? Go to one of these campsites for a unique experience in the middle of nature.

1. Sleeping in a Yurt – Drenthe

FROM origin The Yurt comes from Mongolia, but nowadays it is also located in Dwingeloo. And it's not just any one Yurt. You can spend a few days here in all the luxury and space. From your stay you are directly in the Dwingelderveld National Park, which you can easily explore by bike or on foot. Completely relax in Drenthe or experience the culture, it's all possible! 2. Spend the night in a 'Trek-in' – Friesland

3. Glamping in a greenhouse – North Brabant

The feeling of sleeping in the middle of nature, but in a fully equipped accommodation. Sit in the living room with a full view of the breathtaking surroundings of De Biesbosch National Park, cook indoors or outside and look at the starry sky while showering. 4. Hanging in the tree – Gelderland

A very special overnight stay is something you can certainly do here, namely in one tree tent! You hang high and dry and sway with the wind. 5. Staying on a deserted island – Flevoland

A real adventure on the Veluwemeer. A ferry will drop you off at the CampSpirit campsite where you can spend the night in one of the tepees. The uninhabited island is full of nature, birds and swimming opportunities. Do something active? Rent a canoe and discover the island from the water.
