Whether you plan to travel with your camper or caravan, good preparation can make the difference between a great camping experience and a disappointing trip. Fortunately, HABA offers an extensive range of useful camping items. In this blog we take a closer look at two articles that are useful for both summer and winter. NB! VAST WATER DRAINAGE
Many campsites have comfort pitches with a water tap and drainage. You can empty the waste water tank - or in older caravans: the drainage bucket - every time, but it is more convenient if you don't have to worry about that. Then you use the HABA wastewater lettuceng, in combination with the Hold-up More herring set. It consists of an extendable hose and ten sturdy pegs (30 centimeters) with which you can easily create a smooth path for the water hose. This causes the waste water to be automatically discharged to the discharge point. You do this by driving the pegs into the ground at different heights and then guiding the drain hose via the pegs to the discharge point. On the other side, attach the hose to the caravan drain with the universal adapter (17 to 49 mm). If three meters in length is not enough, you can connect the waste water hose to a second one. Because you can bend the hose, it is possible to make a gooseneck so that any bad odors from the sewer are stopped. The pegs have a diameter of 6 mm and a sharp point, so you can also hammer them into the ground on a hard surface. They are resistant to weather influences and if you store them in the accompanying case, the rubber caps on the points prevent damage to holiday items.

WEATHER AND WIND
The second product we discuss here is the Bisella 'tie down set'. You use this to anchor the awning in a storm-proof manner. The set is specially intended for awnings and awnings with a tubular frame. The tension strap does not go over the awning, as this could damage the tent canvas. That is why you attach the tension strap to the front horizontal tent pole of the awning. Then you guide it down via both uprights to the pegs, where you attach the tension strap. Of course, you hammered those pegs into the ground at an angle of 45 degrees - this way they have the most grip. An additional advantage of this mounting method is that the tension straps do not have to be tensioned like guy lines - so you can't trip over them. The Bisella tensioning set comes with two robust storm straps with buckles that allow you to easily adjust the tension straps to length. Unlike many other brands, with HABA you always receive two pegs with every storm strap.
