Tabbert Booster: built exclusively for the Netherlands

Tabbert Booster: built exclusively for the Netherlands

The Tabbert Booster, a special version of the Rossini, was developed in consultation with Dutch dealers. You will not easily find this caravan at German dealers, because the Booster was specifically developed for Dutch campers.

The Tabbert Booster is available in three layouts, two of which have a French bed and a larger version with a layout that is becoming increasingly popular in caravans: the single beds.

Exterior Tabbert Booster

Unlike our Eastern neighbors, Dutch campers like decorated caravans. The Tabbert Booster is a luxurious version of the already complete Rossini and that starts with the outside. All Boosters have smooth exterior plating instead of the traditional 'hammered finish' and, together with the carbon-look stickers and black transfers, this gives the caravan a sleek and sporty appearance.

The Booster is equipped as standard with 15-inch alloy wheels, drawbar cover at the front and robust Big Foot stable supports on all corners. The caravan also has a chic awning strip over the full length of the caravan with an integrated LED lighting strip that illuminates the entire side. You usually only encounter this with the more exclusive caravans and it gives the Booster its own look. And thanks to the dimmable LED lighting, you can easily find the caravan at the campsite in the evening.

Booster interior

Smart interior

The smallest Tabbert Booster is the 450 TD, with a body length of 470 cm. It has a smart interior where the foot of the French bed extends slightly below the transverse L-shaped kitchen. The bathroom is located next to the French bed and in the back the 450 TD has a cozy round seat that can be converted into a second double bed, so that you can also go on holiday with four people.

The 490 TD is slightly larger. This caravan also has a French bed at the front and a spacious round seat at the back, with a straight kitchen in between. The big brother is the 540 E, which is equipped with single beds – a layout that comes straight from campers and also seems to be gaining popularity in caravans.

Between the two single beds we see a storage unit with a roll-out intermediate piece: with an extra pillow you can quickly transform the single beds into a large double bed with spacious dimensions (200x200cm). The beds are supported by the in-house developed Tabbert Comfort sleeping system (slatted bases combined with spring trays) topped with 'water gel' mattresses that feel very comfortable and have reinforcements at the shoulders and hips.

There is plenty of storage space under the beds in all models. The dark wood combines well with the light wood decor on the upper cabinets, which are equipped with matt chrome handles. Together with the Pearl Gray upholstery, the Booster gets a contemporary look.

The equipment level of the Tabbert Booster is special, such as atmospheric ambient lighting along the ceiling, integrated insect screen and special mattresses that provide extra sleeping comfort.

Solidly built

Like all Tabbert caravans, the Boosters are also well built. Electrical wiring, gas pipes, air hoses for the ring heating and the drinking water system are neatly laid out. The caravan is equipped with a Truma Combi heater with ring heating and boiler. The standard BWT drinking water filter is special so that you can drink safely from the tap. Tabbert gives a 10-year warranty on watertightness.

Conclusion of caravan test Tabbert Booster

The Tabbert Booster occupies a special place within the Tabbert portfolio. First of all because the models have been developed exclusively for the Dutch market, but also because of the equipment level. Tabbert buys the extra options in bulk and that results in a lot of price savings. This gives consumers thousands of euros in savings than if they had to order those options separately. That advantage increases from 4.162 euros for the 450 TD to no less than 5.028 euros for the 540 E. This makes the Booster a premium caravan at a very attractive price level.
