L&B Campers: Accessible, something for everyone

L&B Campers is an initiative of father Henry and son Luca Bosma. The company has existed since 2019, but experience with buying and selling campers goes back a lot further. Lucas grew up in the former Bosma Campers, which was also located in Emmer Compascuum. Both Henry and Luca gained 25 years of experience here. Of course, that experience, insight and knowledge has been taken to the current L&B Campers, with which a young company has been given a kickstart. Where the name L&B comes from is of course not hard to guess.
Purchase
The L&B Campers range is mainly imported from Germany and Belgium. And that is not without reason. Just like in the Netherlands, fiddling with the mileage is punishable in these countries. And that mileage is exactly something that L&B Campers wants to be absolutely sure is correct. In Belgium they use the Carpass system which offers a fair amount of certainty, in Germany you can usually also check the driven kilometers via the maintenance history. Only campers with a conclusive service booklet are purchased. But that is not the only check. Every camper undergoes an extensive camper check including moisture measurement. And both Henry and Luca have developed a nose for what is good and what is not. As soon as the camper has passed the ballot, it is included in the range with NAP.
It is also possible that a camper has been obtained by trade-in. Of course, the same checks apply here. But where with import the camper remains standing if it shows defects, with trade-in the deal can still go ahead. A camper at the end of its life will not be sold but will be passed on to export, as it is called in automotive terms. So trading in is always possible. In fact, you can also offer a passenger car, caravan or, for example, a coin collection to make the L&B camper you have in mind accessible. The only condition is that the traded-in must be resaleable.
L&B Campers usually has around 40 campers on offer. All types of models, such as semi-integrated and fully integrated campers, as well as bus and alcove campers, can be viewed. You can also choose the layout that suits you best. The young, used top models are on display in the covered showroom. The slightly older models are parked invitingly on the outdoor area. L&B Campers wants to keep the range diverse, because not every enthusiast has a nearly new price in the bank. Fortunately, there are enough camper owners who really cherish their possessions and maintain them well. These first-owner models, even with a less recent year of construction, can still provide many years of camper pleasure for a somewhat tighter budget.
The campers are sold with a 3 to 6 month warranty. L&B Campers is RDW certified so transferring or exempting in case of trade-in is easily arranged. A test drive with such a green license plate is also no problem. A very nice extra is that when you buy a camper from L&B Campers, you can come back annually for a free moisture measurement. And if something does happen during the warranty period, you do not have to travel to Emmer Compascuum for this but you can use a national service network so that it can also be repaired at a garage in the area. Your own garage is also possible, but in consultation. Of course, it is not the intention that an external party writes with a fork.
Service
For the installation of accessories such as air conditioning or bicycle carriers and repairs to the living area, L&B Campers has its own workshop. There is also a handy tent for extensive cleaning and better polishing. Albert is responsible for this as workshop manager. There is a bridge that can carry the load of a camper for work on the exterior. With a professional steam cleaner, the interior is made as good as new. A permanent partner is available for maintenance of the basic vehicle. This also ensures a fresh MOT.
Laundry products
A clean camper drives better. Of course that is not true, but that is how it feels. To be able to hold on to that feeling, L&B Campers has its own line of washing products. Products that are also used in the workshop are offered under the name CamperShine. For example, there is a Rain Streak Remover. Designed to effectively remove those ugly rain streaks and watermarks. It works immediately, after which they can be easily polished away. With CamperShine Anti-Insect, insect remains disappear from the grille, bumper and mirrors without damaging the paint, plastic or metal surfaces. The premium rim cleaner from CamperShine is the secret weapon against stubborn dirt, brake dust and road dirt, making the rims look like new again.
