Winter camping in the Netherlands: Where to go

Winter camping in the Netherlands: Where to go

Winter camping is easy to do with a well-insulated and heated camper or caravan. There is no need for bluebills. In the Netherlands, about two hundred campsites are open all year round. Not only the barrier, but also all facilities. There are five camper pitches where there is also something to do.

Camper site Vechtdal: Your own hot tub

On the edge of Nieuwleusen you will find Camperplaats Vechtdal. The first camper place ever with wellness facilities. The camper place has twelve spacious pitches of approximately 80 m2. Four of them have a hot tub right next to the camper. What you call winter camping with a heated twist. The hot tubs are heated by wood. And you can stoke that yourself. This way you can enjoy a relaxing rest in your own warm hot tub next to the camper in the evening, even when it is freezing.
