You're looking for that one place, not too far from home, where you open the door of your camper and still get that 'abroad feeling'.
No hassle, just go. Early spring is the perfect time to start the engine. In the Heart of Limburg, we invite you to get moving again. Literally. The big crowds are still far away and the region is open for you.
Here you set your own pace. You park your camper in places that truly make you happy. Along the Maasplassen, at the edge of the forest, or at one of the other camper spots in the region. Our tip is to definitely bring your bike. The cycle paths along the water here are endless and offer miles of unobstructed views. Feel the fresh wind on your cheeks as you cycle. It's simple: clear your mind and enjoy.
Are you more of a hiker? Put on your hiking boots and seek out the greenery. We are proud of our National Parks De Meinweg and De Groote Peel, but just as proud of the many other forests and natural gems that our region boasts. You smell the damp forest floor and hear only the sound of your own footsteps and the birds. Here you will find the silence you came for.

Good food is part of being outdoors. We know that all too well. Here, we don't get it from far away, but straight from the land. Along the roadside, you can easily buy freshly picked asparagus. You'll also regularly encounter farm shops along the way where you can buy your daily fresh regional products. In the evening, in front of your camper, you taste the region on your plate. Don't forget to settle down on a terrace after an active day for a piece of 'vlaai' or a locally brewed beer, because that too is getting moving again.
