Eating outdoors is part of the motorhome lifestyle. But anyone who has ever loaded a clumsy barbecue knows how quickly that pleasure turns into pushing and shoving.

The founders of nomadiQ encountered exactly that problem. They wanted to barbecue anywhere, on the balcony, in the park, on the boat, at the campsite or on the beach, but there was no barbecue that was easy to take with you, simple to use, and looked good.

From this idea, the first nomadiQ gas barbecue was born: compact, fully portable, and lightweight. Its success whetted their appetite for more, and the brand continued to develop based on the same principles: smart, compact, and portable.

Today, the range consists of three appliances. We list them.

nomadiQ BBQ model 3.0: the gas classic

This is the model where it all began, now in its third generation. Thanks to the use of cast aluminum, it weighs only 5.6 kilos, and when folded, it measures 40 by 36 centimeters with a diameter of 16 centimeters.

Open it up and you have two grill plates of 730 cm2 each, a total of 1460 cm2, which you can control separately. Meat on the left at low temperature, vegetables on the right at high temperature.

Model 3.0 received an improved locking mechanism and enamel-coated grill grates. Turn the foot outwards, unlock the knobs, open it up, connect the gas hose, and you're ready.

For whom? The motorhome owner and caravan owner who wants to be free-standing and not dependent on electricity. It works with a disposable gas canister as standard, but with the extended gas hose, you can also connect it to a large canister. Ideal if you are sitting at a table with four to eight people.

nomadiQ e-BBQ: barbecuing without flame

When it turned out that a growing number of people do not want or are not allowed to use gas, nomadiQ developed the electric variant. Just as compact, portable, and smart as the gas version, but powered by electricity.

Here too, two plates with separate temperature control, together good for 2 x 1150 watts and over 1460 cm2 of grilling surface. No open fire, so no flaring ash and hardly any smoke.

You set the temperature between 150 and 350 degrees, and the grates have a PFAS-free enamelled non-stick coating.

Perfect for those who mainly stay at campsites with a power connection, or want to grill at home on the balcony or roof terrace where open fires are not allowed. Also great for those who are tired of constantly buying new gas canisters.

nomadiQ cooking appliance: two burners that travel with you

The latest addition is not a barbecue but a fully-fledged cooking appliance. Two powerful burners with independent temperature controls, little wind disturbance, and at 2.7 kilos, you can take it anywhere.

They are essentially two gas burners that you fold together, so the appliance takes up hardly any space in your luggage. The burners and pan supports are truly designed for cooking, so your food cooks faster than on a barbecue.

Extremely suitable for the traveler who wants more than grilling. Cooking pasta, making soup, frying eggs in the morning. Ideal for camping, cycling, hiking, or fishing. Also a godsend if your outdoor kitchen in the motorhome is too small for two large pans.

All three are made of high-quality aluminum, fold compactly, and are ready for use within a minute. All three have two zones that you control separately. And all three are quick to clean afterwards.
