System with inverter
Fitting into the 'keep it simple' formula is the combination of a Blue Power battery charger and a Phoenix inverter. Depending on the type of charger, you can charge multiple batteries isolated from each other. With the Phoenix inverter, a stable AC current is always available to power a laptop or charge your electric toothbrush. Inverters come in two types: with a pure or block-shaped sine wave. Block-shaped AC voltage is unsuitable for all devices with a circuit board, transformer, or electric motor. And there are quite a few of those. All Victron Energy inverters do not have this problem and deliver 230V exactly as it comes from the socket at home, safe and stable for all connected equipment.
Multiplus with DC generator
A power system in your camper that is completely independent of a shore power connection is created by combining the charging current from shore, alternator, and DC generator with a Multiplus battery charger and inverter in one housing. With the Multi control panel, a maximum generator or shore power can be set. The MultiPlus then takes other power consumers into account and only uses the 'leftover' current for charging. This prevents the generator or shore connection from being overloaded and a fuse from blowing.
The Power Assist function adds an extra dimension to this. Peak current is often only needed for a short time. The MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated with power from the battery. As soon as the load decreases, the reserve power is used again to charge the battery. With the built-in automatic transfer switch, you won't notice a thing. A connected computer or TV will continue to function undisturbed.
Quattro with AC generator
When an AC generator is used, a Quattro charger and inverter in one forms the heart of your own power plant. A difference with the Multiplus is that the Quattro can handle two AC sources. The generator and shore power are therefore connected directly to the Quattro. The Victron isolation transformer prevents electrolytic corrosion in this setup.
Parallel system
Stroomwinkel.nl is a specialist in the most complex power questions. By connecting Quattro or Multiplus chargers and inverters in parallel, any power need can be met. It's not complicated. Standard products are used in this setup, which can be easily configured and connected with a PC connection and the VEConfigure software developed by Victron. This provides a high power requirement for, for example, the complex household of a large motor yacht. Because even on the go, the microwave, flat screens, navigation instruments, coffee maker, or induction hob must continue to work.
