The fast charging makes it possible to be 100% again within 2-3 hours. Of course, this can also be done with solar panels. In addition, the batteries are lightweight and compact, so easy to handle and install. Built-in cell heating and a high protection class guarantee that the Professional Li-ion battery can operate effectively and safely, even under demanding conditions.
The advantages of VARTA® Professional Li-ion batteries for an off-grid power supply are numerous. Li-ion batteries have a low weight. They weigh about half of a traditional AGM battery of the same size. When you also consider the higher capacity, this means a total weight reduction of about 80% for a battery bank with the same energy output. VARTA® Professional Li-ion batteries offer twice the usable capacity and the ability to discharge up to 100%. They have a longer lifespan and can be fully charged from an empty battery within 2-3 hours.
VARTA Professional BMS functions.
VARTA li-ion batteries are designed so that the BMS, an advanced battery management system, can monitor each individual cell in the battery and keep the capacity of the cells in balance. VARTA Professional Li-Ion batteries can be connected via Bluetooth to an app to check the status and performance of the battery. A quick and easy way to stay informed about the battery's charge status, overall condition, number of cycles and their use, internal temperature, current and alarm for all BMS functions.
The new series of VARTA Professional Li-ion batteries consists of 6 different models at its introduction. From 50 to 200Ah in various sizes. The heaviest of 200Ah weighs only 29.5kg and has dimensions (L/W/H) 353x350x190cm.
