Adria Alpina 663HT: flagship from Slovenia
Adria is undergoing a major upgrade of its portfolio. After the Astella and the Adora, the flagship Alpina has now been completely redeveloped: a four-season caravan from the top segment. We take a look at model 663HT: a large caravan with many surprises.
On the outside, the Alpina is a very sleek caravan, with polyester outer plating all around. This makes the roof, for example, more resistant to hail, and the polyester bottom plate offers good protection against splashing dirt and stone chips while on the road.
The Alpina comes standard on alloy wheels and has new brushed aluminum striping – giving it a luxurious look. The front is equipped with so-called wind deflectors that guide the airflow, and at the drawbar box, the luggage flap opens almost the full width. The storage system with luggage boxes is handy.
The rear has been newly designed, with integrated handles and a slim light strip for the LED taillights. A special feature is the heated drying cabinet on the side, handy for ski boots, for example. Because the Alpina is a true four-season caravan, which means you can also go skiing with it. That's why, for example, there is also a fixed waste water tank under the chassis that is both insulated and heatable.

Living, eating, sleeping
The wide door provides access to a remarkably spacious interior. In the front, we see the L-shaped kitchen, with brushed stainless steel wall cladding that is easy to clean. The worktop contains a three-burner gas hob and an integrated sink with a wooden cover that can be used as a cutting board. An oven is standard on board, and a microwave can be installed above the large Thetford fridge-freezer combination at an additional cost.

The spacious living lounge in the middle offers space for at least six people, and the bench opposite can optionally be replaced by an electrically adjustable lazy recliner. A nice detail is the rechargeable ambient light that you can place anywhere in the caravan – or outside. You charge it in a 'docking station' where the lamp is also safely stored while on the road. Behind the living area, we find a spacious bedroom with a transverse queen-size bed, with adjustable headrests.

At the very back, across the full width of the caravan, you'll find the bathroom. With a spacious shower on one side and the toilet on the other. In between, there's a large vanity unit, also with plenty of storage space, including behind the mirror. For styling, Adria uses subtle wood tones, combined with light color panels. A special feature is the hollow cabinet doors on the overhead lockers – the hollow shape enhances the sense of space in the Alpina. Nice details include the shelves that can be clicked into special rails throughout the caravan, which we also see in the kitchen, for example.
Installations
The winter sports capabilities are emphasized on the inside by the standard Alde liquid heating, underfloor heating, and a special airflow system for ventilation behind cabinets and under the benches. This prevents condensation and thus cold bridges from forming anywhere. Beautiful mini-spotlights are placed in the right spots, and indirect LED lighting is integrated throughout the caravan. You can control it via an app or a touchscreen display near the entrance door. But you can also switch off the lighting from the bed, for example, with control panels on both sides – so you'll never argue about who has to turn off the light.

Conclusion Adria Alpina
The Adria Alpina is a caravan from the Champions League of the caravan world, also suitable for the harsh temperatures during winter sports. Remarkable is the extensive standard equipment – which also has a downside as it limits the payload. But you'll find plenty of that in the substantial caravan tow vehicle you need for this type of caravan.
