LMC Style 440D: especially for the Netherlands
It was introduced last year especially for the Dutch camper and for model year 2021 the LMC Style 440D gets an update. A 'Dutch' caravan from Sassenberg, Germany: extended due to success.
LMC builds caravans according to the LLT method: Long Life Technology. This means, among other things, that no wooden but plastic frames are used in the sandwich walls. The floor of the Style is also produced according to this construction method, which allows LMC to give no less than a 12-year warranty on watertightness - a unique feature in the caravan world.
Exterior
For model year 2021, the Style 440D has been improved in a number of details to better meet the wishes of the Dutch camper. The caravan is equipped with smooth sheet metal instead of hammered finish, an awning lamp has been installed and the modified striping gives the caravan a sleek appearance. At the front, the Style is equipped with a drawbar cover and the caravan is delivered with alloy wheels. The rear of the caravan looks modern, thanks to the beautiful taillights.

Dutch style
The Vivo Style 440D was developed especially for the Dutch market. This means that dealers and importers had a lot of say in the layout, the dimensions of the bed and the styling. German customers, for example, are happy with many wood tones in the interior and multi-colored upholstery. For Dutch customers, it can be a bit more modern and a bit less 'Burgundian'. That is why, for example, the doors of the overhead cabinets have a white touch with chrome details and the upholstery is kept in one color: warm gray with an anthracite gray 'piping': a subtle trim that gives the cushions a luxurious look.

Spacious round seating area
The most important thing in the caravan is the layout popular with campers, with a fixed double bed and a spacious round seating area. The so-called French bed has Dutch dimensions: 210 centimeters long, which can certainly be called a plus. The width of 144 cm is also slightly more spacious than we usually see. Next to the bed is the toilet room, which is so long that a shower (optional) can easily be installed here. Just outside the toilet room we see a washbasin, with sufficient storage space for toiletries.
The kitchen has a light-colored worktop with an integrated stainless steel three-burner hob plus sink. There is ample storage space in the drawers under the worktop, with a pantry cupboard and a relatively small refrigerator. Opposite the kitchen, the stove is positioned with an overhead cupboard for clothes.

Installations
In terms of equipment, the Style 440D is nicely complete. Heating, boiler, and even underfloor heating are standard. Also standard is the service hatch under the double bed, allowing easy access to all your holiday essentials from the awning. The refrigerator could have been larger, but that's the compromise when choosing this layout. However, you can easily solve this with a separate cool box in the awning (for drinks). Inside, a Heki-2 roof hatch provides plenty of daylight, and the caravan is also equipped with a screen door, Big-Foot corner steadies, and a fixed fresh water tank located under the chassis.
Conclusion LMC Style 440D
The LMC Style 440D has been 'extended due to success' for a reason. The caravan has the most popular layout for caravans (French bed with round seating) and the 210 centimeter long bed will be welcomed by many. The equipment is perfectly fine: the only thing you still need is an awning and a gas bottle and then you can immediately go on holiday.
