Luggage stress for camping? Not with our tips!
Are you going on holiday soon? Then chances are you've already cautiously started counting down. Soon you'll be able to leave everything behind and just enjoy the peace, the beautiful weather and, of course, the delicious food. Because let's be honest, a holiday isn't complete without a tasty bite now and then! But before you can enjoy the sun, sea and possibly also the beach, you first have to pack your suitcase for the campsite. Don't panic, we have the perfect tips to minimize stress. Because what we often see is that when packing the suitcase, a slight panic often starts to arise in most of us.
Buy a good suitcase
Before you can start packing your suitcase, it's useful to have a good suitcase. If this is the case, you can skip these tips and immediately proceed to the next one, which is making a packing list. If you don't have a suitcase yet, it's advisable to think carefully about what you're looking for. Buying a suitcase online is easily arranged nowadays. The only thing you need to know is what requirements and wishes your suitcase must meet, so you can make a first selection for yourself based on that. For example, think about the size, but also whether you choose a suitcase with wheels or without wheels. Our advice is to buy a suitcase with four wheels, an extendable handle and preferably with wheels that can rotate 360 degrees. This way you can maneuver your suitcase much more easily through the crowd, for example when you fly to Italy.
Make a packing list
Good preparation is half the battle. Therefore, start by making a packing list. Write down everything you need and check it off as soon as it's in your suitcase. This way you prevent forgetting something important and you can leave with peace of mind. You can often easily download a complete packing list online, which is divided in such a way that you can decide for yourself which parts are important to you and which are not. The advantage of a standard packing list is that you can't forget anything. If you make a list yourself, there is still a chance that you might overlook something.
Roll up your clothes
It is and remains a classic, but a handy trick to create more space in your suitcase is to roll up your clothes instead of folding them. This way your clothes take up less space and you prevent wrinkles. In addition, you can put small items, such as socks or underwear, between the rolled-up items. Of course, this does not mean that your clothes will remain completely wrinkle-free, but you will see that this is considerably less than when you simply fold everything as we are often used to doing at home when we store our clothes in the closet.
