CHALLENGER GENESIS 56 - 2010 FIAT DUCATO – TRANSVERSE BED

Comfortable, spacious Challenger Genesis 56 from 2010 on Fiat Ducato with a double transverse bed at the rear, a double pop-up bed at the front, and a dinette that can be converted into a children's bed. Under the double transverse bed is a spacious garage. The bed is height-adjustable, allowing the garage to be made larger or smaller depending on the desired storage space.

The garage is equipped with a Pollicino loading system and ramp, which makes it easy to load and unload a moped, scooter, or motorcycle (max. 160 kg) into and out of the Motorhome. For those who prefer to transport bicycles or e-bikes, a separate conversion kit is available for this system, allowing the existing rail to be used for transporting two bicycles or e-bikes.

*1 Engine light: The yellow engine light intermittently illuminates. The Motorhome drives normally. The fault was read and assessed by the garage. No specific technical cause was identified. The Motorhome then passed the MOT without issues. The read fault codes are available and can of course be viewed.

*2 The plastic shower floor has a crack. The floor has been sealed and then fitted with a wooden floorboard that distributes the weight better, allowing you to stand on it without problems. I personally think that a handy DIYer could probably improve the floor with a relatively simple intervention, making showering without worry possible again, but that is my own assessment. I cannot guarantee it. For safety, I have never used the shower function myself, only the sink.
