Fiat Ducato 290

Fiat Ducato with Hymer body from 1991. The camper was fully inspected in June 2025 and approved for another 2 years of MOT until July 1, 2027.

We can manage with less space and last August we had the opportunity to take over a camper van. Otherwise, we certainly wouldn't have sold this one.

The train seat can be converted into a bed, providing 4 sleeping places. The backrest of the bench behind the driver's seat can be moved to the other side, making 2 belted seats available in the direction of travel.

Only the passenger seat can swivel.

The refrigerator works on 220v and gas.

Toilet works fine. We have never used the shower, taps, and boiler, it does work but needs attention.

Heating works.

The awning has some damage, see photos. This has been repaired or can be easily repaired and otherwise works fine.

The roof was recoated with membrapol 2 years ago and can last for many more years.

We have carried out all maintenance ourselves. I don't know exactly when the timing belt was replaced, so that is a point of attention.

It is a 34-year-old camper, so the engine leaks a drop of oil and smokes a bit more occasionally, but it always starts immediately and never causes problems. You have a great overview through large windows and it drives well.

In short, a nice camper that is ready to go on holiday for many more years.
