For sale: our Karmann Colorado 660 based on the Volkswagen Transporter T5 2.5 TDI 5-cylinder. A spacious, solid and comfortable alcove camper with lots of living space, a cozy full round seating area, large alcove, spacious garage/trunk and many practical upgrades and accessories.

We are selling the camper due to the birth of our third child. In the coming years, we expect to use apartments or a larger folding trailer rather than camper pitches/campsites with the camper. Therefore, this fine Karmann can go to a new owner.

LAYOUT, SPACE AND COMFORT

The Karmann Colorado 660 is a remarkably spacious motorhome with an alcove. Precisely because of the alcove above the cabin, a lot of living space remains downstairs, making the motorhome feel spacious and practical inside.

At the back there is a full round seating area/caravan seating area. In our opinion, this is one of the best features of this motorhome: you can really sit comfortably with the whole family, eat, play games or relax indoors. Even in bad weather, you sit warm and comfortable in the heated motorhome, without being cramped. In good weather, it is a nice place to start or end the day peacefully.

The round seating area can be converted into a second double bed. Together with the large alcove, you therefore have 4 sleeping places: 2x a double bed. The original round table is present, but equipped with a more flexible leg, making the table much more practical to move.

The driver's seat and passenger seat are swivel, allowing you to easily create a second seating area in the front. This is ideal for when you don't want to fold up the bed of the round seating area and still want to sit comfortably inside.

In addition, the motorhome has a lot of storage space. The spacious trunk/garage is accessible from two sides: via the side and via the back. This allows you to easily store and access camping gear, chairs, tools, cables and other luggage.

For extra sleeping comfort, optional extra slatted bases and an extra top mattress for the round seating area are available. You can easily use these or not, for example during longer holidays.

The motorhome has 4 official belted seats. For larger families, a suitable MultiMac 3-seater child seat is available that fits in the 2-seater spot, so you can safely create 5 belted seats. This MultiMac was purchased second-hand via eBay UK in 2025 and is optionally available at an additional cost for €800.

MAINTENANCE AND CONDITION

The camper has been maintained at the dealer/Truckland and maintenance history is available. Recently, at Truckland, among other things, the MOT was carried out, the taillights were renewed and work was carried out on the air conditioning, exhaust/middle silencer and the cooling system/coolant hoses.

The front tires were replaced in 2025: 2x Continental 215/60R17C 109T/H VanContact 200, worth €185 each. The rear tires still need to be replaced, as they are slightly too light for the weight. This has been taken into account in the price.

The camper has no known moisture problems.

To be honest: there are light scuff marks on the side and the plastic film on the bumper is coming loose in some places due to age. This is cosmetic and not a technical problem.

A very complete and nice family camper, ready for vacation immediately, with many accessories and practical upgrades.
