You see them popping up like mushrooms more and more: alpaca farms. Logically, alpacas are fun and special animals. Did you know that nowadays you can even camp among the alpacas? Read more about the different options.

The alpaca is becoming increasingly popular. This is because they are very nice animals to watch and because they have a friendly and gentle character. No wonder the demand for activities with alpacas has grown enormously.

Alpaca activities

Camping among the alpacas: AlpacaFarm Vorstenbosch came up with the idea. The application to open the campsite is now with the municipality. This Alpaca farm is basically a professional alpaca breeding farm. Over time they have started to offer more and more recreation to visitors. The farm is open every weekend, so you can take a look at the animals and then enjoy lunch or even high tea!

In addition to lunch, they offer many other activities with alpacas. You can take a walk with an alpaca and you can even have a meet & greet with an alpaca. Who wouldn't want to have a chat with such a cheerful animal? But you can also have a drink among the alpacas and even undergo a yoga session.

Sleeping among the alpacas

If all those activities aren't enough for you, you're in luck! Because in the future you will also be able to camp among the alpacas. The plan for the mini campsite has been discussed with the municipality of Bernheze and the permit has therefore been applied for. It will be 'glamping', or luxurious camping. The tents will be equipped with their own sanitary facilities.

Wake up wonderfully in a luxurious tent with an alpaca who will be the first to wish you good morning. We naturally hope that this plan will become reality as soon as possible. Until then we have to wait patiently in the Alpaca bar.
