Unique campsites: camping among alpacas

You see them popping up like mushrooms: alpaca farms. And it makes sense, alpacas are fun and special animals. Did you know that you can even camp among alpacas these days? Read more about the different possibilities.

The alpaca is becoming increasingly popular. This is because they are incredibly fun animals to watch and because they have a friendly and gentle character. No wonder the demand for activities with alpacas has grown enormously.

Alpaca activities

Camping among alpacas: AlpacaFarm Vorstenbosch came up with the idea. The application for opening the campsite is now with the municipality. This Alpaca farm is basically a professional alpaca breeding farm. Over time, they have started offering more and more recreation to visitors. The farm is open every weekend, so you can take a look at the animals and then enjoy a nice lunch, or even a high tea!

In addition to lunch, they offer many other activities with alpacas. You can take a walk with an alpaca and you can even have a meet & greet with an alpaca. Who wouldn't want to chat with such a cheerful animal? But you can also have drinks among the alpacas and even undergo a yoga session.

Sleeping among alpacas

If all those activities are not enough for you, you're in luck! Because in the future you will also be able to camp among the alpacas. The plan for the mini-campsite has been discussed with the municipality of Bernheze and the permit has therefore been applied for. It will be a 'glamping', in other words luxurious camping. The tents will be equipped with private sanitary facilities.

Wake up wonderfully in a luxurious tent with an alpaca that comes to wish you good morning first. We naturally hope that this plan will become a reality as soon as possible. Until then, we still have to wait patiently in the Alpacabar.

Can't you really wait to spend a night among the alpacas? Then pack your bags and go to Belgium! There you have Camping Alpaca where you can already camp among the alpacas.
