Thabor farm in Friesland
Enjoying Frisian nature, that's what you can do at the Thabor hoeve. You'll find a vineyard, wine tasting, meeting room and mini-campsite. The location can be rented for all kinds of occasions. Originally it was a monastery, the Thaborkleaster, now you can enjoy the peace and quiet at the campsite and in the small-scale vineyard. In the surroundings are the cities of Sneek and Bolsward, part of the Elfsteden. But also idyllic Frisian villages such as IJsbrechtum, Tirns, Eastereind, Oudega and Blauwhuis.

The vineyard
The vineyard was established in 2011 and consists of approximately 2,500 grapevines. The wines from the Thabor farm are made from their own grapes. The grape varieties are: Cabernet Cortis (blue grape), Solaris (white grape), and Johanniter (white grape). The volumes are still small, but the taste and quality have already surprised many people. In the summer, there are several wine tastings where you can get acquainted with the unique Frisian wines. Of course, you can also order wine there, so you can toast at your camper or caravan.
