Starting a campsite in corona time

For many self-employed people, the corona period is a hard slap in the face. Many found themselves without work. But of course real entrepreneurs cannot sit still. This is also evident from this interview AD.nl with three entrepreneurs who decided to build a campsite. In just a few months they had their own campsite in Drenthe.

For many self-employed people, sitting still is absolutely not an option. Because it was not yet clear to many self-employed people at the beginning of the corona crisis whether they would receive compensation, the three entrepreneurs Eva Hetharia (30), Frederik Noordhuis (31) and Sieko Noordhuis (28) decided to do something themselves. After a brainstorming session, a private campsite suddenly came up. Once this idea was in the air, they couldn't get it out of their heads.

Own piece of land

Suddenly these entrepreneurs were offered a piece of land without a zoning plan. It was written in the stars this camping had to happen! They grabbed this opportunity with all six hands.
