Carefree camping in a fully equipped city bus? You can do that at Camping De Lakens. The campsite offers a unique opportunity to spend the night in a so-called 'Beachbus'. This is the icon of the old school buses from the United States.

The bus is of course fully equipped and probably even more than you would expect. This includes: a slackline, a hammock, a private toilet and all this in a very beautiful private spot on the campsite.

The area

Near Bloemendaal beach are the Kennemerduinen. The dunes are part of the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The area stretches over no less than 3800 hectares of dune land. A true oasis of peace between the bustling Randstad and the wide North Sea beach. The area is known for the high dune edge in the east of the dune area, with the Brederodeberg (45 meters) near Santpoort as its highest point.
