System with inverter

The combination of a Blue Power battery charger and a Phoenix inverter fits into the keep it simple formula. Depending on the type of charger, you can charge multiple batteries isolated from each other. With the Phoenix inverter, there is always stable alternating current available to run a laptop or charge your electric toothbrush. Inverters come in two types. With a pure or square sine wave. Square-wave alternating current is unsuitable for all devices with a printed circuit board, transformer or electric motor. And there are quite a few. All Victron Energy inverters do not have this problem and supply 230V exactly as it comes from the socket at home, safe and stable for all connected equipment.

Multiplus with DC generator

An on-board network in your camper that is completely independent of a power pole is created by combining the charging current from shore, dynamo and DC generator with a Multiplus battery charger and inverter in one housing. A maximum generator or shore power can be set with the Multi control panel. The MultiPlus then takes other power consumers into account and only uses the power that is left for charging. This prevents the generator or shore connection from becoming overloaded and prevents a fuse from blowing.

The Power Assist function adds an extra dimension to this. Peak current is often only needed for a short period of time. The MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated with power from the battery. As soon as the load decreases, the reserve power is used again to charge the battery. With the built-in automatic changeover you won't notice anything. A connected computer or TV continues to do its work undisturbed.

Quattro with AC generator

When an alternating current generator is used, a Quattro charger and inverter in one forms the heart of your own power plant. A difference with the Multiplus is that the Quattro can handle two AC sources. The generator and shore power are therefore connected directly to the Quattro. The Victron isolation transformer prevents the development of electrolytic corrosion in this setup.

Parallel system

Stroomwinkel.nl is a specialist in the most complex electricity questions. By connecting Quattro or Multiplus chargers and inverters in parallel, every power requirement can be met. That is not complicated. Standard products are used in this setup that can be easily set up and connected with a connection to a PC and the VEConfigure software developed by Victron. This makes a high power requirement available for, for example, the complex maintenance of a large motor yacht. Because even on the road, the microwave, flat screens, navigation instruments, coffee maker or induction hob must continue to work.
