Adria Action Sport: upgrade of an evergreen
The Adria Action has been around for a while, about seventeen years now. Yet this small but fine caravan is still popular among Dutch caravanners. To maintain that, an Adria Action Sport version has been added to the program. For those who go for adventurous camping.
Compact and Lightweight
With a design that can best be described as elegant, the Adria Action is a striking appearance. The caravan was launched in 2005 to celebrate Adria Mobil's fortieth anniversary. Soon after, the Adria Action was named ANWB Caravan of the Year. The jury was impressed by the striking design full of innovations and the efficient use of available living space. Nice and compact, feather-light and with a voluptuous design. In terms of design, it was a bull's-eye, because so many years after its introduction, the Action is still current.
Adria Action Sport
Stagnation means decline, so the Adria Action has moved with the times. Over the years, there has been a choice of three different color schemes: indigo blue, anthracite, and outdoor green. The caravan is now also available in four different layouts with an interior length between 3.60 and 3.90 meters. The Sport version adds a few things to that. It turns the Adria Action into a real off-road edition, rougher and tougher than the original on which the Sport is based. The brushed aluminum details, the higher ALKO chassis, and the striking set of 15” alloy wheels could appeal to a younger audience.
Four-person 391 PH
The Adria Action Sport is nice to look at from the outside, clearly different from a uniform white box. With a maximum length of 3.90 m, this Adria is also compact. And yet the caravan is suitable for 4 people if you choose the 391 PH. With an ingenious pull-out bed, you can spend the night in this Action Sport with four people. This pull-out bed hangs above the seating area, which can be converted into a double sleeping place. On paper, that's a great solution. In practice, the sleeping space of the converted seating area is limited when the bed above it is pulled out. Still, it can work for a family. For a longer stay, you can manage with an extra tent. On the road, that's not necessary. For one or two nights, a little makeshift shouldn't be a problem.
Modern Interior
The interior of the caravan is also attractive. Whichever layout or version you choose, all models are compact, but without compromising on comfort. The different layouts make optimal and efficient use of the available space. All models also have a panoramic window at the front. This makes it an even lighter and airier whole.
The Adria Action is therefore a compact caravan, lightweight at the towbar and with a nice appearance. The body is made of polyester, so a heavy hailstorm will not immediately cause much damage. Furthermore, the regular Action stands on an AL-KO chassis, which has been raised by 8.5 cm for the Sport version. A Truma heater is also included, along with a 140L refrigerator. With multiple USB connections, your phone will be charged again in no time. And the sanitary facilities also leave nothing to be desired.
