The Adora is one of the best-selling model series from the Slovenian caravan manufacturer Adria, with 16 models, from compact to super-large. We are looking at a very special one: the Adria Adora 673 PK, a caravan with two entrance doors. Two? Yes, two…
The Adora series starts with the 462 UP, a beautiful caravan with a French bed. And then follows a whole series of larger models, also with single beds and bunk beds. Adria has built a reputation when it comes to family caravans where children have their own sleeping place, sometimes even with a play corner. The ultimate in this area is the Adria Adora 673 PK, a caravan without compromises if you are traveling with a large or blended family.
Own chill zone
It's not an eye-catcher, but it does stand out: the second entrance door, at the back of the caravan. It provides access to the shielded children's area, because that is the secret of the Adria Adora 673 PK. Children have their own chill zone, effortlessly convertible into three sleeping places, one of which is at eye level. Three long sleeping places (200cm) where you can also park lazy teenagers – although you probably prefer them outside, in their own tent.
Exterior of the Adria
The exterior of the caravan looks as we are used to from Adria: ABS front and rear, polyester side walls and we see the same material on the roof, which offers better protection against hail damage. The caravan has an easily accessible drawbar box for the gas bottles, we see beautiful alloy wheels (option) and an anti-snaking coupling. The modern striping, combined with the dark framing of the front window and panoramic window give the caravan a recognizable appearance.
Living area
We save the best for last, so we start at the front. The front door of the Adria Adora 673 PK provides access to the living area and the marital bed: a large double bed across the full width of the caravan at the front, directly under the large panoramic roof. This provides a lot of light and if you don't use the standard blackout, you can look at the stars from your bed. Also striking is the colossal round seating area located in the middle of the caravan. This round seating area can also be easily converted into an extra double bed, if you are going on holiday with a large or blended family.
Well-equipped kitchen
Opposite the round seating area, we find the well-equipped kitchen, with a combined three-burner gas hob plus sink and plenty of storage space for cooking utensils in the drawers. Next to the kitchen is a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, followed by the beautifully styled toilet and the separate shower cabin.
Separate children's area
Behind a dividing door, the pièce de résistance of the Adora 673 PK is hidden: the separate children's area which has its own entrance – or escape route – to the outside: the second access door. At the back is a spacious corner sofa that can be converted into a double bed with a single bunk bed with a ladder above it. This gives the kids their own chill spot to chat, text, and game undisturbed. With the three substantial sleeping places in this room, mom and dad's double bed plus the round seating area that can be converted into a bed, this caravan therefore has no less than seven sleeping places.
Installations
The caravan is well equipped. Heating and hot water come from the Truma 6 Combi with ring heating, the 140-liter refrigerator has sufficient capacity for a large family, there is a fixed 50-liter fresh water tank, the toilet and shower receive high praise, and pipes and cables are neatly concealed.
Conclusion caravan test Adria Adora
The Adria Adora 673 PK is a well-equipped caravan with a modern, fresh look and plenty of light. With the separate children's room and the second access door, Adria is taking an innovative step in the caravan world. We also have one point of criticism: the limited number of USB connections. There could have been more if you're going on holiday with teenagers, especially in the children's room. A nice job for the dealer!
