Kabe Imperial 560 XLKS: When there's no limit
The Kabe Imperial 560 XLKS caravan is astronomically expensive for a bit of a Calvinist. But at a good 60K euros, it's not even Kabe's most expensive caravan. Perhaps it's too big an investment for a weekend in Ermelo. But if you have all the time in the world to go far away, then the price tag of this Kabe Imperial 560 XLKS might just be worth considering.

In the European caravan world, the models from Sweden proudly stand at the top. And of those, Kabe is the most well-known brand in the Netherlands. The Imperial range forms the top of the Kabe line-up. The Imperial 560 XLKS is the smallest in that series. Yet, the layout is as we prefer it here. A spacious round seating area at the front, a French bed at the rear with an adjacent spacious bathroom with shower and toilet.
The kitchen is on the left side and is not only large but also complete. A stove like at home with an oven is part of the standard delivery. There is a choice between cooking on gas or, with sufficient power without plunging the campsite into darkness, on induction. A microwave is also provided. You'll find it in the opposite cabinet arrangement. A regal Dometic fridge-freezer combination has also found its place here. So, all the space and equipment to tackle any culinary challenge.
Choice Stress In Upholstery
When you purchase a Kabe Imperial, you have a choice of no less than seven different upholstery fabrics and matching colors. In addition to four different fabric types, you can choose from three leather shades. In the lounge, one of the sofas can be positioned in a recline mode. The seat then slides ten centimeters outwards, allowing you to relax and slouch on the sofa. The Kabe Imperial is also equipped with an audio set with top-segment loudspeakers. You don't see them; they are neatly concealed in the overhead cabinets.
Heating For When It's Really Cold
Scandinavians are enthusiastic campers. A caravan there is usually a kind of holiday home. Even a touring caravan is often driven to the campsite only once and then stays there forever. Kabe caravans are perfectly suited for this. In all seasons, you enjoy comfort just like at home. A considerable achievement, as Swedish winters can easily reach -20°C. That only works well if the caravan is designed for it. Kabe caravans are therefore somewhat heavier than models built in Germany or France. The walls and floor of this Swede, for example, are much thicker, using only high-quality insulation material. In addition, an ALDE heating system has been installed in this winter-hardy model. This works just like at home with liquid in radiators. So, in a Kabe, no blowing hot air heaters, but silent warmth that feels pleasant. You can also opt for underfloor heating connected to the system. In the Kabe Imperial, all of that is standard.
Attractive exterior, chic interior
The slightly rounded polyester front wall has a mega window and special LED lighting. The rear wall, also made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester, is also equipped with an atmosphere-enhancing light strip. The smooth side walls have a printed striping. This is a difference from stickers that quickly discolour in today's crazy sunlight. Under the caravan there is also a set of light-alloy 17” rims. And to further emphasize the winter sports character of this Kabe, you will find a small flap at the front with an elongated compartment to store your skis. An extendable drip tray ensures that meltwater does not make a mess of the floor.
