La Mancelle Grand Liberty: Exclusive Streamline Caravan
La Mancelle introduces the first Grand Liberty on four wheels for the 2022 season. However, the new tandem-axle model from this French caravan builder has been developed exclusively for the German market. This is not surprising, as there is not much interest in large caravans in France.
The German dealer and importer Stefan Kreppel had the wishes of his German clientele translated quite intensively into French, resulting in the eye-catching La Mancelle Liberty. The striking caravan with a streamlined front will be launched as a 2.25 meter wide and 7.90 meter long tandem-axle Grand Liberty. The caravan was presented to the public for the first time at the Caravan Salon 2021.
Large but compact
The La Mancelle Grand Liberty drives with an AL-KO tandem chassis. The extensive standard equipment includes a four-motor mover to maneuver the caravan onto the pitch with the necessary ease. With a maximum width of 2.25 meters, the Grand Liberty can be called compact among large caravans, meaning a normal camping pitch is large enough.
Aimed at two people
The tandem axle of the Liberty comes in two different versions. With two single beds in a V-shape or a centrally placed queen bed in the back. The epicentre in the living area is the large seating group in the front, which offers a lot of space with generous dimensions. The sofa can be converted into a bed if more sleeping places are needed.
Bathroom and kitchen
The proven Variobad has been used in the bathroom. A setup that you often see in campers. With a rotating wall, you have a toilet or a shower. A 45-liter fresh water tank is built in as standard. Optionally, you can enlarge this to 80 liters. A 45-liter waste water tank is only available at an additional cost.
The kitchen is nice and spacious and offers more storage space than the single-axle La Mancelle models. The caravan has a 132-liter refrigerator as standard, and if desired, an oven or microwave can be installed. Opposite the kitchen, the manufacturer has placed two large storage cabinets.
The La Manchelle tandem axle has a best price. The caravan will cost approximately from € 48,000. However, with a plan to purchase, you will have to travel to Germany.
