LMC Vivo 580 D: light and air for two

LMC Vivo 580 D: light and air for two

The LMC Vivo 580 D caravan has a striking layout. With a bow kitchen, it meets the latest trend in caravanning. And the full-width bathroom at the back is also a popular development. But what's in between is of course also important.

The Vivo is considered LMC's entry-level series. A lot of caravan for an attractive price. However, the LMC Vivo 580 D is on a higher level than you would expect from an entry-level model. The new LMC has a kitchen under the front window. Such a bow kitchen is a space-saver and with the extra hatch above the window, you can cook nicely without losing contact with the outside world.

The bathroom at the rear of the caravan extends over the full width. Also something of this time. A spacious shower cabin of 70 by 80 centimeters on one side and the toilet on the other side. The sink is placed in the middle. Immediately behind the bathroom you will find the French bed. One of the most popular bed forms at the moment. The LMC Vivo 580 D will therefore appeal to many people.

The central seating area

Between the French bed and the bow kitchen, in the middle of the caravan, there is a seating area. Above it, an XXL roof hatch has been placed. Together with the panoramic window above the front window, this provides an abundance of daylight in the interior. The seating area consists of an L-shaped bench and a table. The bow kitchen spans the full width of the caravan. Nice and spacious and equipped with plenty of daylight. There are three burners and a refrigerator with a capacity of 142 liters. Those who want to make their 580 D even more luxurious can choose from a number of attractive options. For example, smooth exterior plating and inlaid windows are available as options. Unique for an entry-level caravan.

Above and opposite the French bed you will find plenty of storage space in the overhead lockers. These are white with a wood-colored band. A chrome-colored stripe between white and wood makes it look modern and chic. Opposite the bed along the wall, a low narrow cabinet has been placed under the window. This extends a bit just before the seating area. Sitting on the bench, you can lean against it comfortably with a cushion. The table is adjustable to provide more space for the passage to the back.

The payload

The LMC Vivo 580 D caravan is of a considerable size. With the drawbar, the vehicle measures 7.90 meters long. It is also 2.32 meters wide and 2.575 meters high. The empty weight is 1424 kilos. This means that the standard version with a maximum weight of 1600 kilos has a somewhat tight payload. For those who find this insufficient, the 580 D can be upgraded. From 1600 to 1800 or even 2 tons. Then much more holiday luggage can be taken along. To be precise, 576 kilos. The LMC Vivo 580 D with two to three sleeping places is available in the Netherlands from € 26,510.
