Swift Mondial 420SE: modern Brit

In ten years, caravans 'from the other side' have changed completely. The superlative of young & fresh can be found in the Swift Mondial. Swift caravans are built by England's largest caravan and camper manufacturer, the Swift Group Limited.

The Mondial series has four popular layouts: end kitchen, French bed (fixed double bed lengthwise) and two single beds. Striking on the outside is the modern print on the side walls and the black caravan front. The three-piece front window, typical of British caravans, is concealed here. Above that, a large panoramic window that provides extra light into the caravan.

Polyester construction

You will not find wood in the construction of the caravan walls at Swift. Next season the entire outside of the caravan will be made of polyester. The front and side walls were already made of plastic and, from model year 2017, also the side walls, both outside and inside. Swift gives a 10-year warranty against moisture.

Fresh gray tones

Fresh gray tones and white cabinet panels provide a light interior in the Mondial, which is further enhanced by the large panoramic window in the ceiling. High-gloss wood accents and chrome handles give a feeling of luxury and the richly upholstered sofas make you want to plop down.

Spacious double bed

The bench arrangement - lengthwise of the caravan - is typical of English caravans, as is the window above the drawbar, which consists of three parts. Between the two longitudinal sofas is a cupboard with a roll-up slatted base that you can easily roll out between the two sofas in the evening, creating a spacious double bed.

Warm water

Three gas burners and a stainless steel sink are neatly concealed in a scratch-resistant countertop. Hot water comes from the Truma Therme boiler (5 liters), the Dometic Series-8 refrigerator has a capacity of 110 liters and the rear panel is equipped with indirect lighting. The rear of the caravan is completely reserved for the bathroom, over the full width of the vehicle. The Thetford toilet on the left, a spacious shower on the right and a sink with sufficient storage space in between.

The standard equipment level of the Mondial is high. Speakers (built into the plastic roof finish), screen door, inverter/battery charger, alloy rims, fresh water tank with level meter, drawbar cover and TV preparation: all standard.
