Swift Mondial 420SE: modern British

In ten years, caravans 'from across the pond' have completely changed. The superlative of young & fresh can be found in the Swift Mondial. Swift caravans are built by England's largest caravan and motorhome manufacturer, the Swift Group Limited.

The Mondial series has four popular layouts: from end kitchen, French bed (fixed double bed lengthwise) and two single beds. Striking on the outside is the modern print on the side walls and the black caravan front. The three-part front window, typical of British caravans, is integrated into this. Above it, a large panoramic window provides extra light in the caravan.

Polyester construction

You won't find wood in the construction of Swift caravan walls. Next season, the entire exterior of the caravan will be made of polyester. The front and side walls were already made of plastic, and as of model year 2017, the side walls, both outside and inside, are also made of plastic. Swift offers a 10-year warranty against moisture ingress.

Fresh grey tones

Fresh grey tones and white cabinet panels create a light interior in the Mondial, further enhanced by the large panoramic window in the ceiling. High-gloss wood accents and chrome handles give a feeling of luxury, and you'd want to sink into the richly upholstered sofas.

Spacious double bed

The sofa arrangement – lengthwise in the caravan – is typical of English caravans, as is the three-part window above the drawbar. Between the two long sofas is a cabinet unit with a roll-out slatted base that you can easily roll out between the two sofas in the evening, creating a spacious double bed.

Hot water

Three gas burners and a stainless steel sink are neatly integrated into a scratch-resistant countertop. Hot water comes from the Truma Therme boiler (5 liters), the Dometic Serie-8 refrigerator has a capacity of 110 liters, and the rear panel features indirect lighting. The rear of the caravan is entirely reserved for the bathroom, spanning the full width of the vehicle. On the left is the Thetford toilet, on the right a spacious shower, and in between a washbasin with ample storage space.

The standard equipment level of the Mondial is high. Speakers (built into the plastic roof trim), fly screen door, inverter/battery charger, alloy wheels, fresh water tank with level indicator, drawbar cover, and TV preparation: all standard.
