Tabbert Booster: exclusively built for the Netherlands

Tabbert Booster: exclusively built for the Netherlands

In consultation with Dutch dealers, the Tabbert Booster was developed, a special edition of the Rossini. You won't easily find this caravan at German dealers, because the Booster was specifically developed for Dutch campers.

The Tabbert Booster is available in three layouts, two with a French bed and a larger version with a layout that is becoming increasingly popular in caravans: single beds.

Tabbert Booster exterior

Exterior Tabbert Booster

Unlike our Eastern neighbors, Dutch campers like well-equipped caravans. The Tabbert Booster is a luxury version of the already complete Rossini, and that starts with the exterior. All Boosters have smooth exterior paneling instead of the traditional 'hammered' finish, and together with the carbon-look decals and black transfers, this gives the caravan a sleek and sporty appearance.

The Booster is standard equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, a drawbar cover at the front, and robust Big Foot corner steadies on all corners. The caravan also has a chic awning rail along the full length of the caravan with an integrated LED lighting strip that illuminates the entire side. You usually only find this on more exclusive caravans, and it gives the Booster its own distinct look. And thanks to this – dimmable – LED lighting, you can easily find your caravan at the campsite in the evening.

Booster interior

Smart interior

The smallest Tabbert Booster is the 450 TD, with a body length of 470 cm. It has a smart interior where the foot end of the French bed extends slightly under the transversely placed L-kitchen. Next to the French bed is the bathroom, and at the back, the 450 TD has a cozy round seating area that can optionally be converted into a second double bed, so you can go on holiday with four people.

Slightly larger is the 490 TD. This caravan also has a French bed at the front and a spacious round seating area at the back, with a straight kitchen in between. The big brother is the 540 E, which is equipped with single beds – a layout that comes directly from motorhomes and also seems to be gaining popularity in caravans.

Booster sleeping area

Sleeping area

Between the two single beds, we see a storage unit with a pull-out extension: with an extra cushion, you can transform the single beds into a large double bed with generous dimensions (200x200cm) in an instant. The beds are supported by the in-house developed Tabbert Comfort sleeping system (slatted bases combined with spring plates) with 'watergel' mattresses that feel very comfortable and have reinforcements at the shoulders and hips.

Under the beds, all models offer plenty of storage space. The dark wood combines well with the light wood decor on the overhead cabinets, which are fitted with matte chrome handles. Together with the Pearl Grey upholstery, the Booster gets a contemporary look.

The equipment level of the Tabbert Booster is special, such as atmospheric ambient lighting along the ceiling, integrated insect screen and the special mattresses that provide extra sleeping comfort.

Solidly built

Like all Tabbert caravans, the Boosters are solidly built. Electrical wiring, gas pipes, air hoses for the ring heating and the drinking water system are neatly installed. The caravan is equipped with a Truma Combi heater with ring heating and boiler. A special feature is the standard BWT drinking water filter so you can safely drink from the tap. Tabbert gives a 10-year warranty on watertightness.

Conclusion caravan test Tabbert Booster

Within the Tabbert portfolio, the Tabbert Booster occupies a special place. Firstly, because the models have been developed exclusively for the Dutch market, but also because of the equipment level. Tabbert buys the extra options in bulk, which results in a significant price advantage. This means consumers save thousands of euros compared to ordering those options separately. This advantage ranges from 4,162 euros for the 450 TD to no less than 5,028 euros for the 540 E. This makes the Booster a premium caravan at a very attractive price level.
