Melvans in Arnhem: rent, buy and service caravans at one location

Anyone looking for a caravan near Arnhem, for a week away or to buy themselves, can now also contact Melvans via CampersCaravans.nl and Caravanstekoop.nl. The company, owned by Melvin Puijn, is located in a new business building on Leemansweg in Arnhem and does three things: rents out caravans, sells caravans, and services caravans. The motto on the banners in front of the door is: caravans with passion.

First rent, then buy

Melvans rents out touring caravans for 2 to 6 people. The caravans are rented out all-inclusive, with furnishings and extras, so you don't have to search for pots, pans, crockery, and camping gear yourself. There are also caravans suitable for winter use, so renting doesn't have to be limited to the summer months. A long weekend is just as possible as a holiday of a few weeks.

The fact that renting is also a good way to try out whether camping with a caravan is something for you is reflected in the reviews on Melvans' website. Customers who actually wanted to buy a caravan were advised by Melvin to rent one first, and camped in it for three weeks. A sensible order: after a few weeks in a caravan, you know much better how many berths, which layout, and what weight suits you.

Delivered and set up

No towbar, or don't feel like driving yourself? For a small additional charge, Melvans will deliver the caravan, and setting up an awning is also possible. Those living within a 5-kilometer radius can use the free pick-up and delivery service from home.

Buying a caravan, also searched for to your specifications

Melvans also has caravans for sale. As a rule, you can also buy any rental caravan; if you see one you like, it's a matter of asking. If you are looking for something specific, Melvin will search for it for you, also outside the Netherlands: caravans from Great Britain, Southern Germany, and France are among the possibilities. You indicate what you are looking for, Melvans looks for what can be found.

The range varies from a compact two-person Hymer Nova to a Sprite Major 6 with a triple bunk bed for large families. Because Melvans services the caravans themselves, you know who to turn to if something needs to be done to the caravan after purchase.
