Camper production is starting again

In recent weeks, camper production has been delayed and in some cases even stopped due to corona. The biggest cause was a shortage of materials, including from China. More and more brands are now slowly resuming production.

The biggest problem in RV production lies in the availability of parts. For some campers, these come from all over the world. If there is a kink in the supply chain, a camper cannot be completed for delivery. Leon Bruggink of Bruggink Campers tells that the campers that have already been ordered are completed with priority, after which the campers that the dealers can keep in stock will be delivered.

He continues: “If I speak for myself, I know that there is one thing I do not want in the coming years and that is mass tourism. What could be more wonderful than your own quarantine camper, with its own sanitary facilities? Perhaps this corona crisis will turn out very well for the camper trade.”
