Campers retrieved from Morocco

Campers retrieved from Morocco

Every year, NKC organizes camper trips abroad, including this year. These trips were canceled due to corona, but the campers remained behind. Now NKC has drawn up a plan in collaboration with the embassy, the insurer and Broekman Logistics from Rotterdam to retrieve them. This mainly concerns campers belonging to participants in one of the five NKC group trips this spring.

Information meetings

The campers had already been brought back by plane, but the campers remained parked at a campsite in Marrakesh. This was because there was still hope of completing the journey in the autumn. But that is not possible now, so the plan is to have the campers driven from Marrakech to the port of Casablanca and from there shipped to the port of Amsterdam.

If everything goes according to plan, the owners can pick up their camper here in early December. The owners have now been informed about the proposed operation at information meetings. Many travelers have recently asked for advice on getting their camper back from Morocco.

Ambitious plan

NKC director Stan Stolwerk is happy with the plan to retrieve the campers. He calls it ambitious to do it at such short notice, but this way campers can at least enjoy the freedom of camping again next spring.
