Caravana 2022 in Leeuwarden is cancelled

Until recently, the Caravana 2022 was still on the trade fair calendar. But unfortunately, the organization has announced that this camping fair, which was planned in Leeuwarden at the end of January, will not take place. The Caravana in the WTC Expo of the Frisian capital is known as the largest camping fair in the Northern Netherlands.

“In recent months we have closely monitored the developments surrounding Covid-19. Based on these developments, we have, to our great regret, had to decide to cancel Caravana 2022. This cancellation arises from the continued uncertainty and the continued threat of measures aimed at containing the persistent coronavirus," the organization said in a statement on the website.

“A visit to Caravana must be safe and responsible. The circumstances surrounding corona are constantly changing, which brings with it a lot of uncertainty. As a result, we cannot guarantee that Caravana can take place in a responsible manner in January 2021.”

Save the date! Caravana 2023 from 26 to 30 January

Sitting down won't do much, which is why the organization is looking forward to getting started with the next edition of the nicest and most enjoyable camping fair in Northern Netherlands.
