The Carpento: a compact eye-catcher
Small but striking: the Turkish Carpento caravan. In the distance, the small caravan looks a bit like the Basecamp Airstream. This is due to the eye-catching window at the front. Dark tinted and continuous down the side.
However, unlike the Airstream, the Carpento simply has the door on the side. There is a small window and a hatch in the back. Behind it is a handy storage space for outdoor items. In the front we see a seating area with a view all around.
Three sizes
This modern caravan is available in three sizes. The smallest is the 310. Including the drawbar, it has a length of 4,20 meters. There are two sleeping places. The 360 is a size larger and 40 kilos heavier. The body measures 3,60 meters, with drawbar 4,70 meters.
In this model there is a bunk bed against the back wall. This means there are four sleeping places. The largest Carpento caravan measures 5,20 meters with drawbar. It has a seating area both at the front and at the back. This can be made into a double bed on both sides.
