Introducing: Yinko Andoetoe
Arimpex Media Services, located in the heart of bustling Amsterdam, is happy to introduce its employees to you. What exactly happens in the company? Who works there and what is it like to work there? This time Yinko Andoetoe tells more about that.
"Day! My name is Yinko Andoetoe, I am 19 years old and just graduated as an application developer. Two years ago I entered Arimpex as an intern and I can still be found here!”
Website developer
“I work as a website developer at Arimpex and mainly as a 'front-end developer'. This means that I am mainly concerned with the appearance of the websites. If something is not quite right somewhere, there is a good chance that I caused it (but that remains between us…).”
Experience within the company
“As I mentioned earlier, I joined the IT team as an intern two years ago. Arimpex was my lifesaver, because my CV came through to the company and I found an internship a few days before the new school year started. So I have been part of the IT team for a long time now and I still learn new things every day.
The nice thing about my work is that I am given a lot of freedom: 'this has to be done and see how you get there'. If that doesn't work, I can always turn to my colleagues for help. Although the IT team is small, I enjoy seeing the results that are achieved. I still learn everything every day. Whether it's about the technology or the history of customers: I find it very interesting.”

“When I think back to the projects I have worked on, I am quite proud. I started learning to program three years ago and now a lot of people have used my work, for example CampersCaravans.nl en Campers.nl seen. The fact that after two years I still get so many opportunities also makes me proud.”
Why Arimpex Media Services?
“As mentioned earlier, I ended up at Arimpex by chance (and with a bit of luck). I learned a lot during my first internship. Not only in terms of the field, but also how the 'grown-up world' works. I also had the same thing during my second internship within the company and still do today. During my training I learned the basics for further development and I have the opportunity to do this at Arimpex. In addition, the work is absolutely not monotonous, so it is never boring.
It's great that I'm still learning everything and can contribute, but the team is the best. Everyone in the team is unique and yet it all fits perfectly. Everyone looks out for each other and there is a really close team bond.”
