10-year-old Julia would have liked a few extra days of vacation. This mainly had to do with the fact that she wanted to spend much more time enjoying the mini-caravan that she built with her father. This can be seen in an item from it Youth news from August 13.

How does such an idea arise? Julie saw a video on YouTube about a mini caravan and she thought it would be a great plan to build with her father. He agreed and so began a major 6-month job. And the result is impressive! The mini caravan is an excellent replica of a Dethleffs caravan, but made of light wood. As a result, the weight is only 55 kilos. This makes it possible for Julia to cycle with it too.

The sofa cushions are made from an old mattress and a fabric that Julia chose herself. These also serve directly as a bed. Since the caravan is two meters long, Julia can easily spend the night in it. During her holiday it was warm enough to sleep in the garden. And when it got too cold, she slept in the garage.

Small is beautiful

There is actually nothing missing from the caravan. There are LED lights both inside and outside and there are two locks on the door. Julia and her father have installed a tow bar at the front that can be connected to Julia's bicycle.

During her bike rides, Julia attracts a lot of attention. That is not surprising of course. The people in the neighborhood think the mini caravan is very nicely made and they have already made very good use of it. If the weather permits, she wants to spend a weekend at a nearby campsite with a friend.
