Goboony expands to North America

Utrecht, June 11, 2026

Goboony expands to North America. With direct availability of motorhomes in twenty major American cities, the platform opens new routes for international travelers and strengthens its position as a global player in motorhome rental. The launch coincides with the World Cup, allowing fans to travel flexibly between host cities. Of the ten new major American cities, Fort Worth functions as an important Orange hub. From here, the host cities of the Dutch national team, Dallas, Houston, and Kansas City, are easily within driving distance.

This expansion of the total motorhome offering is possible thanks to collaboration with local partners. The total number of available motorhomes in the United States is approximately three thousand. 'Around major events such as the World Cup, we see a clear preference for independent travel. The longer the tournament lasts, the greater the need for freedom and last-minute adjustments, precisely what motorhomes excel at,' says CMO Adriaan Hogervorst – de Jong.

Also expanding to Oceania
The expansion to North America follows years of international growth. Shortly after the American launch, the platform will also add offerings in new destinations in Australia and New Zealand. This means the platform will then cover four continents, offering travelers a seamless experience worldwide. Goboony is thus the global market leader with almost 50,000 motorhomes and 350,000 annual travelers.

About Goboony
Goboony was founded in 2015 by avid motorhome enthusiasts Foppe Mijnlieff and Mark de Vos. The Dutch motorhome sharing platform brings together motorhome owners with travelers who want to experience the freedom of traveling with a motorhome. Motorhome owners can rent out their own motorhome via Goboony, so that it does not have to stand still for most of the year and the costs of motorhome ownership are recouped. Goboony has merged with the French Yescapa. Together, they now offer almost 50,000 motorhomes from private individuals and professional partners, and send more than 350,000 travelers on their way annually.
