Hobby Maxia Van: premium design with smart layout

The Hobby Maxia Van is the first Hobby camper that is not based on the Fiat Ducato. Due to a lack of available Fiat units, Hobby has entered into a long-term partnership with Volkswagen. Hence the Maxia Van was built based on the Volkswagen Crafter. But that is not the great achievement of the Hobby Maxia Van. That is the well-thought-out layout with which this camper attracted quite a lot of attention at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf.

The layout of the Hobby Maxia Van does not seem that special at first glance. In the rear there is a spacious seating area with two longitudinal benches, while in the front there is another seating area behind the swiveling front seats. However, thanks to sufficient headroom, Hobby was able to place a fold-down bed above the rear seating area. During the day you can lounge there, even with a larger group. As soon as you want to go to sleep, simply lower the fold-down bed. With a length of 2 meters, also suitable for taller people. The bed is separated in the middle for two single beds of 86 cm wide, which can be combined into a large 3-person bed.

The Hobby Maxia Van is a premium camper with a fully equipped kitchen where you will find, among other things, a 90-liter compressor refrigerator and a smart pull-out worktop.
