Hymer VisionVenture: luxury camping in the future

News from Hymer. In collaboration with BASF, this camper brand is launching a new concept for luxury camping: the VisionVenture. The basis of this luxury house on wheels is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Hymer calls it a foretaste of what modern travel could look like in 2025. 

The chassis, turbo diesel engine, four-wheel drive and some body panels were used from the original Sprinter. Furthermore, the VisionVenture is tailor-made. And as you would expect, many modern techniques were used to build the camper. Think of 3D printing and the use of infrared-reflective paint.

Luxury apartment

It's a camper, but you could almost say it's a luxury apartment. Everything is there for camping in complete luxury. And everything has been thought of. The kitchen even has racks for your plants. And you sleep on the roof, which you reach with a staircase. So you don't have to rearrange everything when it's time for bed.

Hymer has not yet announced any concrete plans to put the VisionVenture into production, so no prices have been announced yet.
