Camping trends 2020: caravans with luxurious design

Many manufacturers put energy into the design of their caravans. Bürstner even turns it into a philosophy, with the theme 'wohnfühlen', a contraction of 'wohnen' and 'wohlfühlen'.

Manufacturers are increasingly calling on interior designers and stylists. As a result, here and there they carefully say goodbye to the eternal wood decors that have dominated caravan interiors for decades. We saw that last year in the Dethleffs Generation caravan. Now we also encounter it in, for example, the Bürstner Averso Harmony Line.

Luxurious atmosphere

A brand like Tabbert is also experimenting extensively to introduce the atmosphere of luxurious New York lofts in their most luxurious series. As in the Puccini, which comes from the drawing board from scratch. With 3D wood decors where you can feel the 'grain'. With luxurious gadgets such as a kind of light barrier at the entrance, where you enter under a soothing LED starry sky from a mini glass ceiling.

Lighting is also a theme at Dethleffs, among others, who even engaged a lighting architect in the development of the new Nomad caravan series. It resulted in hidden LED lighting hoses on three levels throughout the caravan. Invisibly concealed along the upper cupboards in the ceiling, under the kitchen worktop and along the floor, making everything look much more spacious and atmospheric - each can be dimmed separately, so that you can determine your own atmosphere in the caravan.
