Matrasopmaat.eu continues as BeKuMax

It will happen to you. Starting from a family tradition, we started making custom mattresses, while more articles or disciplines were gradually added. The name mattressopmaat.eu then no longer covers it. This happened to Sjors de Jonge, initiator of mattressopmaat.eu. With beds, pillows and mattresses, he and partner Eurty Ruiter will continue under the name BeKuMax.

A small camper has a smart layout, a reliable basic vehicle and a construction method that makes it a sustainable whole. So great value for money. But all too often you will not find this quality in the sleeping comfort on the standard mattresses supplied. For many camper and caravan builders, this is often a final item in the budget. BeKuMax responds to this with tailor-made camper and caravan cushions and mattresses, made from the best foam types and tailored to the body type and wishes of the person who sits or sleeps on them.

Perhaps also for margin considerations, camper manufacturers like to opt for a lightweight mattress. There is of course something to be said for this, as weight simply plays a role in a vehicle with a maximum weight of 3500 KG. After a few years, however, you notice that these basic mattresses deteriorate quite rapidly. It sags and a hole is created in which you wake up broken. With a mattress or pillow set from BeKuMax, the extra weight of which is negligible, you can take your sitting and sleeping comfort to a higher level. The danger lies in the chance that sleeping in your camper or caravan is more comfortable than at home. But of course BeKuMax also has a suitable mattress answer to that.

The method

BeKuMax uses a working method in which personal contact comes first. This helps prevent a bad purchase. You are very welcome to visit the showroom and studio by appointment to clearly list your wishes. Based on this, the composition of foam types that best suit your height, weight and wishes is determined. After this, the mattress or pillow set is measured. This sometimes results in a mold or a scale drawing is made. All shapes for all different beds or sofas are possible. A matching pillow with the correct hardness and size is also available.

Mattresses

BeKuMax supplies memory foam, cold foam or Cool Traveler mattresses. Cold foam has a high resilience. Due to the open cell structure, these mattresses are highly breathable and strong in processing moisture. The cold foam mattress is available in the weight class flexible, medium and firm. All BeKuMax mattresses are equipped with a luxurious zip-off cover and can be supplied in any desired model and height.

The memory foam mattresses are a combination of HR 45 cold foam, covered with memory foam (SG52). The memory foam molds to the body, so that the pressure is extra well distributed over the contact surface. These are also available in the weight class flexible, medium and firm. 

A Cool Traveler mattress is a memory foam mattress that feels cooler. This innovative mattress is a combination of HR 45 cold foam, covered with visco-elastic gel foam. Just like memory foam, this has pressure point lowering properties, but the gel addition keeps it feeling cooler. The Cool Traveler Mattress is available in the weight class supple, medium and firm and also comes with a luxurious zip-off cover. 

BeKuMax also manufactures mattress pads or toppers using these materials. Handy to upgrade the existing mattress or for use in combination sitting and sleeping.

Custom cushions

A design does not last forever, the seat and back cushions of chairs and sofas wear out or become ugly and tastes can differ. Just a few reasons that make a camper in good condition look a bit worn. However, with a new cushion set, the interior will be completely up to date again and it will look brand new in a design that you have chosen yourself. BeKuMax makes custom cushions for your boat, caravan or camper. But it is also possible to have garden cushions made to measure.

All cushions are provided with a resilient cold foam filling. This ensures high seating comfort and a long lifespan. In cold foam you can choose from different hardnesses. For example, the back cushions can be made softer than the seat cushions. 

You can also choose a high-quality flake filling, which can be very comfortable for the back cushions. The cushions come with a zip-off cover, in a fabric of your choice. In the wide range of fabrics for this purpose, Solution dyed fabrics and outdoor fabrics with fun prints are the most popular. With Solution dyed fabrics, the yarn is colored before it is woven. This makes them colourfast and has a long lifespan. 

With such a refresh, the atmosphere in the interior will be of a higher class and this investment will benefit the value of your camping equipment. Something that also applies to optimal sleeping comfort.
