Several campsites open again!

Zeeland, North Brabant and the Rotterdam region. These three provinces have decided to relax some restrictions. In this way they hope to attract people to campsites, hotels and holiday parks.

From this weekend, entrepreneurs in Zeeland may rent out 15 percent of their sleeping places, provided they have their own sanitary facilities. For an overview of campsites with private sanitary facilities: click here.

Owners of a permanent pitch are allowed to spend the night in Zeeland. The chairman of the Zeeland Safety Region says that the space is mainly intended for 'peace seekers', who, for example, want to rest, work somewhere else or escape the city for a while.

In North Brabant, people living in the same household are also allowed to spend the night again. This is on the condition that the sleeping place has its own sanitary facilities.

Campsites, recreational parks, beach houses and marinas are also allowed to partially open in Rotterdam, Goeree-Overflakkee and Voorne-Putten from today. But only day recreation is allowed there; staying overnight remains prohibited for the time being.
