Hymer has developed the right model for all wishes and requirements. In addition, this motorhome builder offers a variety of custom accessories. Hymer has an extensive service network with competent partners and dealers throughout Europe.
The company was founded by Erwin Hymer in 1957. The headquarters of the Hymer Group or Hymer AG are located in Bad Waldsee, Germany. In 2007, a street in Wertheim, Germany, was even named after Erwin Hymer at the opening of the world's first motorhome outlet.
Hymer was the first brand to introduce the 'Van'. A Semi-Integral with the dimensions of a bus camper. Later on, the Exsis was introduced, an integral motorhome that was not there yet. Hymer was also the first with a tuned version: the TuningVan based on a Van Ti255. The Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus was responsible for this since this Hymer was equipped with a Mercedes Benz chassis.
Today, Hymer offers a wide range that is further developed every season in order to continue to meet the requirements of today. Mostly based on the Ducato III with the new JTD engines. But also based on Mercedes Sprinter chassis with CDI engine.
