Since its origin, Eriba has stood for its own approach to caravan construction. Not driven by trends, but by technology, design, and durability. The collaboration between Erwin Hymer and aircraft designer Erich Bachem resulted in a construction principle that forms the basis of the Touring series to this day.

The characteristic design of the Eriba Touring has directly resulted from this. The low, streamlined model is a logical consequence of the pop-top roof concept. The curved lines and compact construction are not stylistic choices, but the result of a well-thought-out construction. Design and technology are one in this.

The body is constructed as an insulated aluminum body in two layers, supported by a self-supporting steel tube frame. This construction method ensures a stable, dimensionally stable base where the forces are not absorbed by the walls or furniture, but by the frame itself. This results in a construction that retains its fit, rigidity, and dimensions even after years of use.

The Touring models from the nineties show this philosophy in its purest form. Materials are chosen for durability and reliability.
