The Bivouac bag K2 is made of very practical 3-layer membrane material. The opening is equipped with a mosquito net, allowing you to let in some fresh air at night without being stung. The material used, Excel Dry Triplex 300, is a super-light three-layer exterior used for waterproof jackets and bivouac bags. The efficient non-porous PEBA membrane prevents moisture from outside from entering the insulation and at the same time wicks body moisture out of the product. The DWR finish increases water resistance and the mini-ripstop structure makes the whole very durable and increases protection against tearing.
