Kabe Crown i760 LGB: a winter-hardy Swede

Kabe Crown i760 LGB: a winter-hardy Swede

At the front, the dark grille and angled headlights give the Kabe Crown i760 LGB a tough appearance in X-design. Immediately above the grille proudly sits the Mercedes star, which further explains the base. The Crown is built on a Sprinter chassis. An impression of this winter-hardy integrated motorhome with Mercedes technology.

The new Kabe Crown i760 LGB looks a little different. The familiar red stripe that Kabe motorhomes and caravans were always recognizable by has made way for a newly designed sticker. Although it is quite exuberant, it suits the new Crown well. It makes it an integrated motorhome that deserves to be seen. The front-wheel-drive chassis of the new Mercedes Sprinter also sparks interest. All comfort, state-of-the-art technology, safety first, and many assist systems. This comfort is partly made possible by the nine-speed automatic transmission, powered by a 170 hp diesel that performs its work silently. So there is no shortage of torque and horsepower.

Ample payload

The Crown i760 LGB from the outside shows a considerably large luggage compartment. The corresponding garage under the somewhat higher-placed single beds is also large. It is a motorhome that campers who take a lot with them will enjoy traveling with. An outdoor shower can also be found in the garage. Next to the garage hatch is a smaller hatch. A drawer for skis slides out there, after all, it's a Swede, there's nothing more winter-hardy. The maximum weight is 4500 kilos. So you need a C or C1 driving license for it. But this allows that large garage to be used effectively, after all, you don't have to worry about a kilo more or less.

Five-person

In the new Kabe, five people can spend the night. At the back, you'll find the aforementioned single beds. And above the seating area, traditionally, a double drop-down bed is placed. When you're not sleeping in the bed, it's not in the way and doesn't affect the headroom. The operation is electric. Below the drop-down bed, you can create a fifth sleeping place from the seating area. In the standard version, four belted seats are available with a fifth on the options list.

All the space

The nicely spacious sanitary area consists of a toilet, sink, and shower. The kitchen is also pleasantly large. Above the seating area, you'll find a display cabinet for storing glasses without rattling. In addition to the complete installation for the boiler and heating, there is also a diesel parking heater. Handy if you want to feel a bit more warmth in the cabin. All of this can be operated with a touch panel. Here you can also read the level of the battery or gas bottle.

Also in winter

Winter-hardy is not an empty slogan at Kabe. Take the heated double floor, the double glazing in the side windows, or a heated floor mat in the cockpit, and you understand that this motorhome offers all comfort even below zero. Kabe has also raised construction technology to a higher level over the years. The new iWall construction ensures maximum stability and absolute moisture resistance. With aluminum cladding and Ecoprim insulation, temperature differences have no influence. In addition, plastic connecting beams are used where moisture can get to. These have cast-in air ducts, which also show good insulating properties.

Kabe caravans and motorhomes are designed and built in the snow. They not only feel at home there, they are made for it. The new Crown i760 LGB adds a dose of luxury and comfort to that build quality, making the model a premium integrated motorhome.
