Loef Buscamper: full of exclusive gimmicks

The Hamburg-based camper manufacturer Loef continues where other panel van builders stop. With a length of seven meters, Loef's MAN panel van offers almost as much space as a large semi-integrated motorhome, but the advantages of a panel van remain intact.

Loef focuses on a sleekly styled interior and adds the necessary gimmicks. Practical or not, the target group of this exclusive panel van will love it.

Exclusive Target Group

This summer, too, we will probably be confronted with the necessary restrictions due to the corona pandemic. As a result, we will be able to welcome a large number of new campers as a positive highlight in an annoying tunnel. One camper will buy a disposable tent, another a new or second-hand caravan, and yet another might be up for an exclusive panel van. For those accustomed to a luxurious all-inclusive holiday to a distant country, this Loef van could be a bull's-eye.

Double Seating Area

Loef builds this camper based on the MAN TGE. A modern appearance is thus guaranteed, fitting well with the target group. To be able to comfortably survive at the campsite, the Loef camper has a spacious round seating area for five people at the back. At the front, there is a second seating area, also for five people. At the back, you will also find a height-adjustable dining table with which you can transform the dinette into a large double bed of 1.95 x 1.75 m in no time. The bed at the front is much smaller and actually only suitable for children. The upholstery is tasteful and made of good quality fabric.

BBQ Drawer

The kitchen and the overhead cabinets are finished with oiled oak veneer. The hidden LED mood lighting further enhances the atmosphere. And the minibar by the sliding door adds even more to that. There are also USB connections everywhere for charging smartphones or tablets. The step is another striking detail. It houses a handy drawer for your shoes. The large drawer at the back is even more interesting, if possible. Not only can you store a lot of stuff in it, but it also accommodates a Big Green Egg Mini Max barbecue. Grilling, baking, roasting, and smoking without filling the interior with thick smoke. In combination with the fully equipped kitchen, you can fully indulge your gastronomic desires in this camper.

Self-sufficient

Of course, there is also a bathroom. Equipped with a real rain shower. The outdoor shower is another refreshing option. In addition, there are all kinds of technological provisions to be able to camp self-sufficiently for a few days. In addition to the optional four-wheel drive, the camper has a Truma D6E diesel/electric heater, solar panels and a substantial Li-Ion battery pack. Thanks to the 2,000 Watt inverter, you can also run all kinds of 230 volt devices. The Loef bus camper also has its own Wi-Fi network with LTE modem and slots for 2 SIM cards.

The Loef is certainly not a budget-friendly bargain. In Germany, the bus camper starts at around € 120,000. In the Netherlands, the dreaded BPM is added to that. For many people, the camper will therefore not really be accessible, but of course there is also a target group for whom such a price is no problem at all.
