Adria Action Sport: an evergreen upgrade
The Adria Action has been around for a while, about seventeen years now. Yet this small but nice caravan is still popular among Dutch caravanners. To maintain this, an Adria Action Sport version has been included in the program. For those who go for adventurous camping.
Compact and Lightweight
With a design that can best be described as elegant, the Adria Action has a striking appearance. The caravan came onto the market in 2005 to celebrate Adria Mobil's fortieth anniversary. Shortly afterwards, the Adria Action was declared ANWB Caravan of the Year. The jury was impressed by the striking design full of innovations and the efficient use of available living space. Nice and compact, feather light and with a voluptuous design. In terms of design, it's a bull's eye because so many years after its introduction, the Action is still relevant.
Adria Action Sports
Standing still means going backwards, so the Adria Action has kept up with the times. Over the years, a choice has emerged from three different color schemes: indigo blue, anthracite and outdoor green. The caravan is now also available in four different layouts with an interior length ranging from 3,60 to 3,90 meters. The Sport version adds a few things. It makes the Adria Action a real off-road edition, a bit rougher and tougher than the original on which the Sport is based. The brushed aluminum details, the higher ALKO chassis and the striking set of 15" alloy wheels could appeal to a younger audience.
Four-person 391 PH
The Adria Action Sport is nice to look at on the outside, clearly different from a uniform white box. With a maximum length of 3,90 m, this Adria is also compact. And yet the caravan is suitable for 4 people if you choose the 391 PH. With an ingenious pull-out bed, four of you can spend the night in this Action sport. This extendable bed hangs above the seating area, which can be converted into a double sleeping place. On paper this is an excellent solution, but in practice the sleeping space in the converted seating area is limited when the bed is pulled out above it. Still, it can work for a family. For a longer stay you can get by with a pup tent. This is not necessary during transit. Making do for one or two nights shouldn't be a problem.
Modern Interior
The interior of the caravan is also attractive. Whatever layout or design you choose, all models are compact, but without sacrificing comfort. The different layouts make optimal use of the available space. In addition, all models have a panoramic window at the front. That makes it a light and airy whole.
The Adria Action is therefore a compact caravan, lightweight on the towbar and with a nice appearance. The structure is made of polyester, so a mild hailstorm does not immediately cause much damage. Furthermore, the regular Action stands on an AL-KO chassis, which has been raised by 8,5 cm for the Sport version. A Truma heating is also included together with a 140L refrigerator. With multiple USB connections, your phone will be charged again in no time. And the sanitary facilities also leave nothing to be desired.
