Kabe Imperial 560 XLKS: When you can't afford it

The Kabe Imperial 560 XLKS caravan is extraordinarily expensive for a Calvinist. But at over 60K euros it is not even Kabe's most expensive caravan. Perhaps it is too big an investment for a weekend in Ermelo. But do you have all the time to go far away? Then the price tag of this Kabe Imperial 560 XLKS could be worth considering.

Kabe Imperial

Top segment

In the European caravan world, the ones from Sweden are proudly at the top. And Kabe is the most famous brand in the Netherlands. The Imperial range is the top of the Kabe line-up. The Imperial 560 XLKS is the smallest in that series. Yet the layout is as we prefer to see it here. A spacious round sitting area at the front and a French bed at the rear with an adjacent spacious bathroom with shower and toilet.

The kitchen can be found on the left and is not only large but also complete. A stove like at home with an oven is part of the standard scope of delivery. There is a choice between cooking on gas or with sufficient electricity without putting the campsite in the dark, on induction. A microwave is also provided. You will find this in the cupboard arrangement opposite. A regal Dometic fridge-freezer combination has also found a place here. All the space and equipment to take on any culinary challenge.

Choice Stress in Upholstery

When you purchase a Kabe Imperial you can choose from no fewer than seven different upholstery fabrics and associated colors. In addition to four different types of fabric, you can choose from three leather shades. In the lounge, one of the sofas can be positioned in a relaxing position. The seat then slides out ten centimeters, allowing you to relax and slump on the couch. The Kabe Imperial is also equipped with an audio set with speakers from the top segment. You can't see them, they are neatly concealed in the upper cabinets.

Heating for when it's really cold

Scandinavians are enthusiastic campers. A caravan is usually a kind of holiday home there. A touring caravan is also often driven to the campsite only once and then remains there forever. Kabe caravans are ideally suited for this. You can enjoy comfort in all seasons, just as the clock ticks at home. A major achievement considering that Swedish winters can easily reach -20°C. This only works if the caravan is designed for this. Kabe caravans are therefore somewhat heavier than ones built in Germany or France. For example, the walls and floor of this Swede are a lot thicker and only high-quality insulation material is used. In addition, an ALDE heating has been installed in this winter-hardy model. This works just like at home with liquid in radiators. In a Kabe there are no blowing hot air heaters, but silent heat that feels pleasant. You can also opt for underfloor heating that is connected to the system. This is all standard in the Kabe Imperial.

Attractive appearance, chic interior

The slightly round polyester front wall has a mega window and special LED lighting. The rear wall, of course also made of glass fiber reinforced polyester, is also equipped with an atmosphere-enhancing light strip. The smooth side walls have a printed stripe. That's a difference with stickers that quickly discolour in today's crazy sunlight. There is also a set of 17" alloy wheels underneath the caravan. And to further showcase the winter sports character of this Kabe, you will find a small flap at the nose with an elongated compartment to store your skis. A pull-out drip tray ensures that melt water does not make a mess of the floor.
