In Vuren, a village on the river Waal, you can camp at a real fort. It was built from 1815 and has different types of accommodations. Think of a glamping tent or even in a bunker!

Camping near Amsterdam, but not in the city itself? José and Ruloff offer their backyard in Hilversum. In the backyard of their corner house, they have space for a camping spot. So that's literally in a backyard! The camping spot is equipped with a seating area including a fire pit. In addition, there is a vegetable garden. This location is also perfect if you really want to relax completely. For example, the hosts can provide an organic and vegan breakfast, lunch or dinner for you.
